The Nexo main board is the heart of building automation. It makes all decisions in the system. Main board is responsible for the alarm system, lighting, blinds, heating, air conditioning, multi-room and video intercom. The central controls the flow of information from programmable switches and mobile applications. Thanks to access to the Internet and the GSM system, it can inform users about current issues via SMS or the NexoVision+ application.

Different types of alarm partitions require different operation scenarios to be run when activated. For example, for a 24-hour partition in the event of a flood, the alarm operation does not require the intervention of third parties but only the notification of household members and the shut-off of the water tap. The fire alarm is, however, more restrictive and, in addition to the typical alarm action, requires the blinds to be raised, enabling faster evacuation.
The basis of any alarm system is emergency power supply in the event of accidental or intentional power cut. In both cases, Nexo will switch to battery operation. Power failure, its resumption or short time to discharge the battery are also the basis for sending an informative SMS.
To Nexo system central it is possible to connected 8 touch panels or partition keypads. These can be physical devices or remote panels installed as applications on PCs. Touch panels are treated by the control panel as user terminals. For this reason, all automation data is stored in the control panel’s memory. Thanks to this construction, we can disconnect the panel from the system, install a new one and after starting it will have exactly the same function as its predecessor
Expansion cards are nothing more than matching the central to our needs. In other words, we must equip it with appropriate helpers implementing the functionality desired by the user.
The central equipped with the Multimedia card will be able to operate the video phone. Adding such a skill to system results in numerous amenities. Well, when the alarm is armed, the central will realize that there is no one at home and will switch any guests calling the gate to the owner’s phone. When the neighbor calls and we are on vacation, he lights up the porch, in the garden and connects the conversation on the phone so that the neighbor has the impression that everyone is at home. When the central detects your smartphone through the intercom cassette, it will automatically open the gate, the garage and raise the blinds.

It will be able to send and provide all information about devices, lights or temperature to your phone or tablet, regardless of where in the world you are. What’s more, you’ll have control over everything that happens on your property. You can also give her orders: for example “I’ll be home early today” and the control panel, knowing about this fact, will turn on the heating, open the blinds, turn on the light and turn on the music.
The central has numerous tamper protection. One of them is sensor that controls the switchboard door. If the alarm system is armed, each opening of the switchgear will result in an alarm and a security call for the building. Another type of protection is the power supply control system for peripheral devices. If the intruder tears the LCD panel from the wall and shorts out the communication cable, system will detect this fact and cut off the power supply from this interface – thus preventing the battery from discharging the emergency power supply.
In the event of a central failure, the individual devices will operate autonomously. The lighting, blinds or relay modules will function in the basic scope without the help of the main unit. They will enable users to operate the roller shutter or heating lights with traditional switches.
The central is equipped with three technical buttons facilitating the system installation process. Thanks to them, technician or user can deactivate the interface of panels or expansion cards during system operation in order to connect system components live. Status LEDs informing the service technician which interface is inactive and how the control panel works are also helpful in this process.
The central is equipped with a connector enabling its mounting in a switchboard on a DIN rail (TH-35). In addition, each cable is connected to central via a plug that simplifies wiring and increases the reliability of the installation as a whole.

A single truth table can contain up to 4 conditions and up to 5 actions.
