The multifunctional switch WPX TUKAN, alongside the LCD touch panel and the WPD button, is one of the most advanced controllers of the Nexo smart home system. It allows management of the system via a 2.8” screen, 12 touch fields, and a multifunctional slider integrated with icons. The button was designed for rooms with a large number of light points, blinds, or other controllable resources such as ventilation or heating. It replaces a long strip of traditional switches, bringing order and integrating multiple devices into an ergonomic interface. Additionally, to reduce the number of devices in the room, the thermostat, which controls both heating and air conditioning, has been integrated into the switch panel glass.

The glass panel is made of optiwhite glass lacquered in white or black (other colors available upon request).
An ergonomic slider has been ground at the bottom of the button to facilitate control.
The switch features side beveling and 18 additional grindings that protect the surface and fit the product into the line of Nexo controllers.

A large, colorful screen gives the most important information – the temperature in the home, the weather and the current time. As we approach the device, the switch automatically wakes up and displays basic information about lighting, ventilation and other resources selected by the household members. Thanks to the light sensor, the screen’s brightness is automatically adjusted to the time of day.

Twelve individually engraved touch fields allow for easy, intuitive control. The colorful backlighting of the icons represents the condition of a given asset and improves the ergonomics of the control. The integration of the glass-cut ring makes it easy to control the intensity and color of the lighting, the thermostat, the blind, or the volume setting of the music.

Integration of the temperature sensor

To reduce the number of devices in the room, the thermostat, responsible for controlling both heating and air conditioning, has been integrated into the switch glass.

When approaching the device, the switch automatically wakes up and displays basic information, such as lighting, ventilation, and other resources selected by the household members.

Thanks to the light sensor, the screen brightness is automatically adjusted to the time of day. Additionally, based on the brightness in the room, we can set the automatic activation of lights, for example, after the motion sensor is triggered.
