Local central unit

Input Expansion Module for the Nexo System – Increases Input Capacity by 8 Channels
(Mainboards X3/X4 are equipped with 20 inputs of the same type). The local control unit allows for the connection of resistive and voltage-based sensors, suitable for both alarm and automation applications. Supported devices include reed switches (magnetic contacts), and sensors for: PIR motion, rain, humidity, soil moisture, liquid level, flooding, fire detection, wind force, gas detection, and others.

1

FAST INSTALLATION

Quick screw terminal blocks (plug-socket type) and DIN rail mounting (TH-35) ensure hassle-free and time-efficient installation.

2

ADDRESSING

Szybkie i proste! Każdy moduł przyjmuje adres z zakresu od 0 do 31.

3

STATUS LED INDICATORS

At a glance, LED indicators show the activity status of each output, as well as power and system communication. After installation, the backlighting can be turned off to reduce energy consumption.

4

VENTILATION OPENINGS

High loads require effective heat dissipation. A large number of ventilation slots ensures optimal temperature distribution across the electronic components.

Motion Sensors

PIR (PASSIVE INFRA RED)

Motion sensors are commonly used to detect presence when the alarm system is armed.
In the case of Nexo, when the alarm system is disarmed, the same physical sensor can be used to automatically activate any circuit, e.g. lighting, a group, or a sequence of actions.

Rain Sensor

The information provided by this element can be used to automatically close windows or cancel the scheduled operation of sprinklers for that day.

Soil Moisture Sensors

Fire Detectors | Sleep Gas Detectors

Fire detectors are essential components in every home, not only in smart homes. Connecting them to Nexo and programming an appropriate action scenario can save lives. The most commonly programmed functions in case of fire detection include sending SMS messages to selected individuals, notifying the security service control unit, optical and acoustic signaling, and raising blinds to facilitate evacuation.

Sleep gas detectors are a necessary protection in case of a robbery attempt preceded by the use of sleep-inducing gases. Buildings equipped with mechanical ventilation systems are particularly vulnerable to this type of attack. Introducing gas into the air intake causes its rapid and effective distribution inside the building. Connecting this type of sensor will result in an alarm.

Anemometr

WIND SPEED SENSOR

The use of awnings and certain blinds requires their closure to protect against high wind forces. The wind speed is measured by an anemometer, which continuously sends this information to the system. Based on this, Nexo will close the blinds/awnings at the critical moment, preventing them from being damaged. If the information about high wind speed is also important to the resident for other reasons, it can be transmitted in the form of an SMS or any other method, e.g. flashing RGB LED lighting in a selected color.

Flood Sensors

Mainly used in rooms exposed to flooding, such as laundry rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Detection of liquid causes the system to close the electric valve.

Everything in Its place.

Nexo Distribution Panel

To make it easier for the installer to mount the modules in the distribution panel, each module is equipped with appropriate connectors, allowing control wires to be connected outside the module and then the prepared harness to be plugged into the corresponding socket. This method ensures proper connection quality and reliable module operation for years. An additional convenience is the bus rail, which provides digital communication between devices. Thanks to its use, module startup is quick, and the communication lines remain durable and reliable. The entire wiring is also aesthetic and clear for any engineer.
