The multi-function programmable button (WPP) is the fundamental manipulator of the Nexo home automation system.
It has a huge number of controlling functions.
The WPP is made of glass panes on which six sensor fields are placed, represented by icons. Each sensor field can have different functions.

The device is designed for flush-mounted installation. Its total thickness on the wall – 6 mm.

Modern design

The manipulator is made of the glass type “Optiwhite” painted in white or black colour.
To reach the aim of the “golden ratio”, the glass pane has chamfers as well as 18 additional grindings, so that there is no chance of getting snags, and to ensure certain aesthetics of the product.

Easy mounting thanks to the appropriate installation box

The programmable switches can be installed into our appropriate installation box which is designed for installing it into plasterboards.

Thanks to the design of the installation box, the glass pane of the manipulator is level with the wall, giving the desired effect about the aesthetics of the mounting. Additionally, the box enables a rotation up to five degrees in both directions, in order to compensate irregularities on the wall. The manipulator itself is installed into the installation box via magnetic fasteners, discreetly placed into the box. Also, the box has a cover as protection against any kind of dirt, in case there is construction work.

Integrated temperature sensor
Best way to measure temperature

To reduce the number of devices used in a room, a thermostat, whose task it is to control the heating as well as the air conditioning, is integrated into the device.

Control of the multi-room system
Radio included

The integration of a multi-room system into the system allows the management of its functions from the WPP. It enables changing the volume of the music as well as selecting the source. You can listen to the radio, MP3 or CDs.

Lighting scenario for reading

After clicking the ceiling lamp turns off meanwhile the bedside lamps turn on. With this it’s easy to enjoy the pleasure of reading in a comfortable atmosphere. After a long holding the manipulator “peeps” and the symbol colour changes to red whereby the change to another lighting scenario is indicated used for watching films.

Air conditioning
Activates the air conditioning ensuring the possibility of increasing or decreasing the temperature to a desired value

A short click starts the device in contrast holding increases the cooling temperature. Click and hold let the device return to the minimum temperature it offers.

Alarm system

A long holding of the icon activates the alarm system in the night mode. In the same time there will be an information on all other manipulators indicated through a sound and the flashing up of the lock symbol. The activation of the alarm system can be also combined with other automation functions like the turning off the lighting and television in the living room or the lowering of the blinds in the ground floor.

Simple click to turn on or off the room lighting

In case you hold it a moment longer, the ceiling lamp could be darkened to a minimum level. If the light is turned on, the symbol glows in red colour. In contrast it shines in a convenient white colour if the room is dark.

Blinds
Touching the icon raises or lowers the blinds

While the blinds are moving, an inconsiderable sound rings out and the symbol also indicates through pulsate illuminating that they are moving.

Thermostat
Starts the heating in the day or night mode

Clicking onto the symbol allows the change of the working mode, the symbol’s colour symbolises the current status. If the symbol is “flashing up” every five seconds, it means that the heating is turned off.

Would you like to change the icons on the glass pane? • That is really easy!

If you do not like the used icons any more, and want to do some changes, you can easily do this by using the WPP Engraver. The installation of the new panes is easy. Just remove the manipulator from the box, remove the five screws, unplug the glass pane and install the new one. The whole process will not take longer than ten minutes.

The engraver shows you in an easy way to select and visualize icons on the glass pane. Also the corresponding library of more than 100 icons allows a representation of even the most sophisticated functions. After selecting the icons and clicking onto placing an order, the new glass pane will be produced on the production site of Nexwell.
