NXW299.5 Temperature Sensor Module TUKAN (hermetic)
An element of the Nexo system responsible for temperature measurement. It is most commonly used for coordinating the operation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and controlling other devices with a temperature-dependent operating parameter in the range of -30/110 degrees Celsius.
KEY PRODUCT FEATURES:
The small housing makes it very easy to install the sensor in a junction box. The rectangular housing allows the sensor to be placed among numerous wires without difficulty when mounting under a traditional switch.
The indicator LED informs whether the device has received the correct bus status and if communication with the system is proceeding correctly.
The miniature probe allows for easy and discreet installation of the sensor under a switch or in another location designated for temperature measurement.
Window connectors ensure 100% quality of the bus wiring installation.
Easy bus addressing – The appropriately recessed switch allows easy code setting of the address. Its placement and design prevent accidental address switching during installation along with the wires.

The product is available in two versions.
- With a miniature probe, which allows easy and discreet installation of the sensor under a switch or in another location designated for temperature measurement
- With a hermetic probe, which allows temperature measurement in outdoor conditions and in a floor screed for underfloor heating purposes.

Nexo, through control of electrovalves in heating loops based on temperature sensor readings placed in various parts of the house, ensures that the temperature in the rooms is maintained at the desired level.
When dealing with a floor structure sensitive to elevated temperatures, it is reasonable to use a hermetic temperature sensor embedded in the floor. This will stop the heating at the right moment, thus protecting the floor from deformation.
